Take the Amador Rocking Chair, for example. With a handcrafted frame from solid teak wood, its handwoven patterns are inspired by cultural elements around Nicaragua. The design of the Mot Mot pattern takes its inspiration from the colorful feathers of the Guardabarranco, or Mot Mot Bird, the national bird of Nicaragua. The San Geronimo pattern is inspired by the colors of the festival of Saint Geronimo, the patron saint of the town of Masaya. Our Colonial pattern is inspired by tilework found in old colonial architecture present around Nicaragua in places like Granada.

Every year, we plant more trees than we harvest, fostering a replenishing cycle that supports communities for generations.
